Meet Brandy

Thanks for stopping by! It is a blessing to have you visit with me.

My name is Brandy. I am an elementary school teacher, wife, mother and friend. I have a wonderful husband named Lindsay. We have been married for 5 years. He is my best friend and I couldn't have asked God for a more perfect man to spend the rest of my life with.  We were best friends for years and did everything together. One day, we realized that we were in love with each other and knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together.

On July 16, 2007 God blessed us with a precious little boy --  Chandler. Chandler came into our lives in a hurry and hasn't slowed down a bit. He definitely keeps us on our toes. He is sweet and can be very charming. I often tell him that he gives the best hugs!

I love God with all of my heart and want to please him in every way possible. As I write, not only am I sharing and trying to bring others to Christ's love, but I am learning at the same time.

• My favorite color is black
• I love chocolate
• I love to read
• If I wasn't a teacher, I'd probably be a librarian
• I love sweet tea (it must have ice in it -- I'm a southern girl)
• I love trying different foods
• Growing up, I never talked in school. I was sooooo quiet and kept to myself, reading a book of course, and it is hard for people that knew me then to believe that I'm a teacher
• I love to listen to music
• I have worn glasses since kindergarten and so has my husband
• I secretly prayed for twins, but after having just one, I don't think I could have handled it! : )
• I'm afraid of learning how to swim because of a bad experience when I was a little girl, but I'd like to get over the fear
• I love Facebook and Twitter
• I felt guilty about going back to work 8 1/2 months after having Chandler because I was teaching other people's kids, but wasn't at home teaching my own
• If money wasn't an option, I'd quit working and be a SAHM in a heartbeat!
